Charlotte Mini Maker Faire

I was so excited to be able to participate in Charlotte’s 2nd Mini Maker Faire this past weekend at Discovery Place Science. Over 3,200 people spent their day with us, making things, learning things, and having fun despite the torrential rain brought on by Hurricane Matthew.

They put me in an amazing spot — at the bottom of the stairs and elevator, right by the registration desk — so I think many of those 3,200 people actually placed stickers on the sticker wall. That’s some serious collaboration, and probably explains why we completed the wall with more than three hours to go in the day! Next year, I’m going to have to make it a whole lot more complex. Apparently 10,000 stickers wasn’t enough!
