Signal Cabinet Wraps

By art, color, design, public artNo Comments

Charlotte is just beginning to dip its toe in the world of Signal Cabinet wraps and I’m so proud to have created the first ones on display! The first one is in South End, on the corner of South & East Boulevards, right next to Grace Covenant Church. It’s called Intersectional, to pay homage to the crossroads where it is located. Where East meets West, South meets North, haves meet have nots, etc. The art is was created with watercolor and ink.   The second one is on the corner of Thomas and Central Ave, next to Workman’s Friend. 2…

Yard Art Day

By design, step away from the screen2 Comments

Okay friends. I’ve been bombarding you with STEP AWAY FROM THE SCREEN for almost 2 months now — over fifty different designs — and I have yet to show you any of the things that I’ve done when I actually stepped away from the screen. What can I say, we’re givers. So now you have no excuse not to visit us. And as soon as the Diamond reopens across the street, just give us a shout as you’re pulling in…

We just launched a new website that we’re extremely proud of and I thought I’d share it with you. Our good friends over at M Pete Inc. were looking to establish their first online presence and we were thrilled to be able to help. Their Design + Build work is clean, modern and smart, and they wanted their website to reflect this. They already had the circle logo, so we decided that more circles could only be a good thing, right? Check out the full site here.

I’m obsessing over these paintings by Sharon Dowell. Love the colors. Love the layers. Love the perspective. Love. And she’s from Charlotte! Rad. See more of her stuff here. (Thanks Susan!)
