Split Complementary

During a vacation to St. Thomas, I found myself stunned by the unique color combinations that saturated the architecture. A few days, and hundreds of photos later, I realized I was collecting the colors of the island — blues and oranges, purples and pinks, reds and turquoises, all shouting for attention everywhere I went.

This collection of monotype prints was born from that trip — each color-baked composition inspired by a specific building I photographed.
