This is an assortment of unrelated thoughts that have occurred to me in the wake of the 2016 election. Most of them are devoid of analysis and look here exactly they way they came out of my head. I needed to put them somewhere so I could process them slowly and thoughtfully.

I just discovered this treasure trove of colorized photos from the past, and I have spent the better part of today looking at the photos there. So, once upon a time I had babies. Little baby babies. Who had teddy bears, and rocking horses, and all the baby trappings of babydom. Before these babies were born, someone gave me a clock. Hey kids! Not sure if you noticed or not, but I haven’t been here in a while. My 365 project got derailed a little bit. First it was because I was busy. Then it was because I was actually spending a lot more time away from my screen. Then I got busy again, and somewhere along the way, I decided to let myself off the hook and pick it back up when I had the wherewithal. Or not. We’ll see.
